BlockWerx 4.0 Drawing/Block Management Software for AutoCAD 2000-2008
BlockWerx isn't just a block manager it's a full-featured, yet easy to use,
drawing management utility with a simple, intuitive user interface. BlockWerx
is designed primarily for users with libraries of drawings organized by folders
on the hard drive (or network drive). A BlockWerx
Library graphically represents that drawing organization.
BlockWerx is distributed as a standalone version as well as a arx versions for
use within AutoCAD (2000-2008).

Feature Usage:
Important - Most of the functionality in BlockWerx is available
via right-click context menus and
the roll-ups.
BlockWerx has a modern drag and drop interface so operations like moving,
copying, inserting, and opening can be performed by dragging an image or group
of images from BlockWerx and dropping it on another Library tab or into
AutoCAD, Explorer, etc.
The following operations are supported in both the standalone and
AutoCAD-dependent versions.
- To move drag the selection and drop it on the Library tab where you
would like it moved. All associated dwg, bak, and sld files are moved to the
new location and any description you have given the block is moved into the
appropriate
bxd file.
- To copy, drag the selection and hold the 'Ctrl' key while dropping
it on the Library tab where you would like it copied. All associated dwg, bak,
and sld files are copied as well.
- To open, drop the selection into AutoCAD. All blocks in the
selection are then opened in AutoCAD (post-R14 versions only).
The following operations are only supported in AutoCAD-dependent versions.
- To insert, hold the 'Ctrl' key while dropping the selection into
AutoCAD. If you have selected more than one block, then each one will be
inserted using the parameters you have set for that Library.
Preset the following parameters for insertion:
- Insert Point, Scale, Rotation
- Insert multiple copies - enter the number or 0 to keep inserting until you
cancel.
- Layer - presents a list of layers in current drawing or you can type in a
layer that does not yet exist and it will be created for you.
- Recognizes ATTDIA and ATTREQ system variables
