Auto Dimension -

The AutoDim plugin is used to automatically dimension blocks and/or the slected group of blocks as they are inserted into AutoCAD. For more information see the AutoDim preferences.

• On/Off - Enables/Disables auto-dimensioning for the Library.
  Default - Off
• Dimension Each Block -
  • Use filter file - The sides for dimensions are determined from a text file.
    Default - Unchecked
  • Edit (filter file) - Graphically edits the filter file.
    
  • Left - Automatically dimensions the left side of each inserted block.
    Default - Unchecked
  • Right - Automatically dimensions the right side of each inserted block.
    Default - Unchecked
  • Top - Automatically dimensions the top side of each inserted block.
    Default - Unchecked
  • Bottom - Automatically dimensions the bottom side of each inserted block.
    Default - Unchecked
  • Offset - Offset from the block geometry extents for the dimension line.
    Default - 3
• Dimension Group/Overall -
  • Left - Automatically dimensions the left side of the group of inserted blocks.
    Default - Unchecked
  • Right - Automatically dimensions the right side of the group of inserted blocks.
    Default - Unchecked
  • Top - Automatically dimensions the top side of the group of inserted blocks.
    Default - Unchecked
  • Bottom - Automatically dimensions the bottom side of the group of inserted blocks.
    Default - Unchecked
  • Offset - Offset from the group geometry extents for the dimension line.
    Default - 6
