CADwerx License Manager 1.1 -
The CADwerx License Manager (CXLM) is a standalone network license server for the following CADwerx products:
Server and client machines can be any platform which runs AutoCAD (Windows 95/98/NT4.0/2000/ME/XP/XP Pro).
To install:
Server -
- Download and install the server software to the left.
- Start the CXLM server (Start->Programs->CADwerx->License Manager->CADwerx License Manager).
- Right click on the task bar icon for the server and choose 'Purchase Client Licenses'.
- A dialog will come up displaying the server name and serial number in case the server is not connected to the internet.
- Click on the 'Purchase Client Licenses' button to go directly to the purchase page and select the Product you wish to purchase client licenses for.
- Select 'Client' license.
Client -
- Download and install one of the products above.
- Copy the client license file (Client.cxl) to the product folder on each client machine.
- Upon starting the licensed product, you will be asked to identify the server. Enter the network name of the server computer.
Note: The CADwerx License Manager communicates on port 11265, if you have network port restrictions engaged on your network you will need to make sure this port is not blocked. If it is not possible to use that port on your network, contact CADwerx for instructions on enabling a different port.
