RevPac 1.0 (Final Beta Release) (Revit Architecture 2010, Revit Structure 2010, Revit MEP 2010)
RevPac is a new set of productivity tools for Revit. For this initial release of RevPac the concentration will be on user interface enhancements. Later, tools to automate
common tasks and streamline existing tasks will be added. Please email your suggestions as most features are going to be user driven.
RevPac UI features
- UI Widget (small tool bar next to the view's 'close/minimize/restore' buttons for globally controlling the RevPac UI):
Tools left to right:
- Pin all toolbars/palettes open - Overrides the palette/toolbar's pinned/expanded status, clicking again restores the defined state
- Hide Titles - Hides the title bar and button for the individual palettes to reduce clutter and focus on the tools (also reduces their size)
- Lock all toolbars/palettes - locks the toolbars against modification or moving (also reduces their size slightly)
- Hide Tools in current view type - If you decide you don't want the RevPac UI tools to show for a particular view type here's where you change it
- Workspace combo - switch current Workspace to another defined one
- ToolBars and Palettes (what a novel idea):
Palettes are user sizable (into the view), can be pinned open or expand when you mouse over it (auto-hide). Toolbars are traditional single line toolbars with a collapsing feature.
